"Carlos Cardona is an award-winning Colombian American director and cinematographer from Southampton, New York. He has worked in narrative and documentary for over a decade and has directed two feature films and has shot feature documentaries and short films. He is particularly interested in stories that deal with identity, race, and class and how they intersect with American culture. Carlos wrote and directed, Chiqui, which had it’s world premiere at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and was cited by multiple sources as a festival highlight of their Indie Episodic Program."

Erin Brown Thomas is a writer, director, and producer whose latest project, CHASERS'—'a bold, 31-minute single-continuous-shot pilot'—'premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and made its LA debut at Slamdance, marking the first narrative project accepted into both festivals. Over 15 years, Erin has directed across genres, specializing in dramas that masquerade as comedies until delivering an emotional gut punch. Her writing explores unchecked ambition, social imbalances, and critiques industrialized Christianity, blending tones into genre-defying stories. Her films have screened at Cannes, won “Best TV” at HollyShorts, and taken home top prizes at Cinequest and Walla Walla Movie Crush. A Nicholl Fellowship Semifinalist, Erin’s scripts have advanced in major competitions, including Sundance New Voices and SeriesFest’s Shondaland Women in Film Mentorship program. As co-founder of Salute Your Shorts Film Festival, she advocates for emerging talent in the indie film industry.

A protege of Robert Rodriguez, Discepolo brings a fearless, cinematic edge to science fiction, dark comedy, and horror. A classically trained actress herself, and former astrophysics major, Discepolo is known for her speed, intelligence and precision on set. With a reputation for delivering high quality work with limited resources. Discepolo is descended from a family of Argentine artists and she blends the family style of tragicomedy. Discepolo is represented by Heroes and Villains, She is currently attached to direct an independent feature starring Jennifer Holland and in post production on a music documentary about her father and his cousin, the tango composer Enrique Santos Discepolo called “American Discépolo”"

Sophie Shrand is an award-winning TV host, actor, STEM educator, and filmmaker with degrees in Behavioral Neuroscience and Theatre. Sophie is the Creator and Host of Science With Sophie, a Telly Award-winning science comedy series for girls and everyone. She is the Founder and Executive Producer of Cool Jacket Productions, Host of streaming series Theory of Awesome, and can be found on social channels like the Museum of Science and Indeed. Sophie has brought science comedy to more than 2 million learners worldwide. She is an international public speaker and performs improv, musical theatre, and Shakespeare across the country, including the American Repertory Theater and The Second City. She is a 2018 Camelback Ventures Fellow.
