Filmmaker Bio: A Little Rock native, Cassie Keet is an award-winning writer/director. "Scream Therapy”, her first feature film, premiered at Dances with Films LA in 2023 and was distributed by Indican Pictures in June of 2024. She was awarded a $60,000 Panavision Camera Grant, which she used to film her second feature, “Abigail Before Beatrice”, in Arkansas in 2024. Her feature film script “Fellowship” was recently featured on The Black List in 2024. Her plays has been performed on stages in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, and London. Short films she’s written (He Knows, We Die Alone, Mine, Bitches by the Sea, and Worst Case Scenario) have screened in festivals around the world and been viewed on line over 3 million times. When she’s not writing, you can find her acting on your small screen (Ray Donovan, The Fosters, Mixology, Jane the Virgin, Grand Crew). A genre nerd at heart, Cassie is obsessed with telling the complicated stories of complicated women.
