Among the black population of the Oaxacan coast, Juana and Magdalena share their life with Neri although they know that it hurts them. In addition, Juana's terminal disease will give Magdalena clarity to resume her life.


BLACK MEXICANS / LA NEGRADA is the first Mexican feature film about the Afro-Mexican community, filmed entirely with people from different towns around the Costa Chica in Oaxaca.


Screening followed by Zoom Conversation with director Jorge Pérez Solano on Wednesday, November 16. Live screening starts at 5:15PM followed by Q&A @ 7PM.
