Three doc shorts give us behind-the-scenes looks at artist Chemi Rosado Seijo and his social engagement project in Puerto Rico, Jonathan's journey through drug addiction and rehab in Mexico, and the stories of teenaged pregnancy in the Dominican Republic. The two remaining narrative shorts give us fictionalized versions of just how difficult it can be to get out, or change the circumstances one is born into.
A young Mexican boy from Oaxaca travels to the coast looking for different opportunities. However, leaving home will not bring anything new, the degraded environment is found in each step he takes, making it clear that his reality does not allow aspirations.
