Migration is always a forced and tragic journey. Immigrants have always lost something on this journey. The Cold brings together these moments of migration in the story of a pregnant woman and her husband trying to cross the border in a cold geography. His son feels neglected and can’t explain his illness to his father but the real purpose of his father is to build a viola with him. He received education in sound design in New York. He studied film in Rome and made his first short film. In addition to his interest in film, he is also a musician playing trumpet and double bass.

Mustafa is an ambitious student studying photography at the university. His sole purpose is to capture the "divine photo" frame that will place him among the immortal photographers and enable him to rapidly climb the steps of his career. To reach this aim, Mustafa takes a photo of each moment. After the earthquake on 17 August 1999, he sets out to the earthquake area to document the tragedies of the event. According to him, it can be an excellent opportunity to fall into his lap to take the "divine photo". At all costs, he would take "that" picture. He studied at the Marmara University of Fine Arts in the Film Designing Department, and currently working on Master of Arts, Photography at University of Europe for Applied Sciences. He has worked in several movies, music clips, commercials, short movies and documentaries as a cameraman, assistant of camera, digital imaging technician, offline editor and junior colorist. His ranges from production to post-production and thus, he has a unique and holistic approach towards filmmaking. He completed his first short film “First 10K” in 2021.

He graduated from Yaşar University Department of Radio, Television and Cinema in 2022. During this time he worked in school projects as director’s assistant, camera and light operators. He is working on new projects as a writer and director.
