It is only near the end of her studies that she started experimenting with hand-drawn animation, at first with Crayon Rose, Cheveux vert then with Déconstruction and finally with The Passage, an official part of the selection of the festival Regard sur le Court-Métrage in 2016. Date Night is her first stab at directing film. She has an eclectic background in film, theatre, dance, circus, and is fluent in five languages. Some of her acting credits include TAKEN (NBC), In Contempt (BET), On the Basis of Sex, and most notably her starring role in Roads in February that not only won Best First Feature at TIFF but also landed her a VFCC award for best actress. This special effect and visual editing enthusiast immerses us in strange and phantasmagoric universes. She participated in several film workshops and internships. In 2018, she penned the deeply moving personal short Kenin that embodies the #metoo movement. She has won various awards for her audio-visual and photographic works. She has worked with a renowned wedding film company, The Wedding Filmer, and has also worked internationally with Los Angeles based production house, Veyra. She seeks to explore and tell stories about human dynamics, identity and gender through her personal art work.
