Gifts of the Heart is a British drama and a love story. Tom is a charming chef and a heart donor volunteer. He persuades frosty and reluctant Samantha into a date which leads to true love and marriage but they argue about when to have children as Samantha says she is not ready. The night Samantha relents, Tom is killed in a car accident before they can have a child, leaving Samantha distraught about what could have been. Samantha eventually finds solace and meaning when she meets a stranger.
