Continuing A Legacy follows a single season of London Gladney, an 11-year old Black girl and competitor in the California Junior Rodeo Association. London comes from a legacy of black cowboys, from her great grandfather who owned and operated the first black pony riding business in South Central Los Angeles to her father Dihigi Gladney, a former jockey and exercise rider for Kentucky Derby winner California Chrome. London wants to be champion and win the saddle at state finals, but first she must learn there's more to being a champion than winning.
