A family of modern-day cowboys has a mission: to continue raising their cattle without harming the ecosystem. Giulio and Francesca want to regenerate the soil of their farm that is currently undergoing a process of desertification and to counter the effects of climate change, in order to leave a sustainable business in the hands of their two children, 13-year-old Brando and 6-year-old Brianna. While seeking economic resources from investment funds that question their ethical vision, they are faced with attacks from the wolves that decimate their herd and force them to find new ways of coexisting with the forces of nature.
