Shot in evocative black and white, Moving Barcelona is one of a series of films by London-based filmmaker Jevan Chowdhury honoring cities around the world through experimental dance. The film’s virtuosic dance team occupies sidewalks, balconies, streets and beaches, bringing their craft to the masses. Featuring narration from acclaimed actor Pep Munné, Moving Barcelona calls on all of us to similarly embrace openness and vivacity. Poetic yet grounded, Moving Barcelona reconceptualizes the relationship between a city and its inhabitants as an evolving love affair.
