When a camera rolls, the world bends and distorts to the edges of each lens, frame, and circumstance. In front of it, whether we like it or not, we always perform. This collection of shorts explores different layers of performance, dilating the question of how and for whom. Eventually, the answer is a reflection of ourselves and of course, to power. The distortion and proximity of the image, as crude as it may be, unveils a subconscious self: it is us.
A group of young Sudanese people create an imaginary television station at a besieged sit-in. Interviewing protestors from around the country, they confront the violence of the regime and conjure a new Sudan.
