Enjoy a hand picked selection of animated short films screened at Cardiff Animation events over the last decade!

These films were chosen by the festival team for the impact they made on us, their creativity and unique storytelling that stuck with us long after the screening finished.

Journey from your home to explore the wilderness, look for the meaning of life atop mountains and find hidden depths in eerie jungles. We will take you to all of these places once again and hope to leave you with new favourites to share beyond the cinema!

Content Notes: Animated nudity, language, grief.

Mwynhewch ddetholiad arbennig o’n hoff ffilmiau byrion animeiddiedig sydd wedi’u dangos yng Ngŵyl Animeiddio Caerdydd dros y degawd diwethaf!

Dewiswyd y ffilmiau yma gan dîm yr ŵyl oherwydd yr effaith gawson nhw arnon ni, eu creadigrwydd, a’u ffordd unigryw o adrodd stori, a arhosodd gyda ni ymhell ar ôl i’r dangosiad ddod i ben.

Teithiwch gyda ni i archwilio’r anialwch, i chwilio am ystyr bywyd ar ben mynyddoedd, a chanfod dyfnderoedd cudd mewn jynglau iasol. Byddwn ni’n mynd â chi i’r holl lefydd yma unwaith eto, gan obeithio rhannu ffefrynnau newydd gyda chi i’w rhannu tu hwnt i’r sinema!

Nodiadau cynnwys: Noethni animeiddiedig, iaith, galar.

Mr Madila or The Colour of Nothing documents a series of conversations between the film-maker and a gifted spiritual healer, exploring the inner mind, the fabric of the universe, and the nature of reality itself, through the sacred art of animation.
