Shorts programmers Morvern Cunningham and Sanne Jehoul bring you a collection of short films from Scottish-based female filmmakers and filmmaking teams, under the theme of Earth, Wind & Fire.

As well as screening a curated selection of short films, Morvern and Sanne will be talking to many of the selected filmmakers about their creative process, their other works and the current filmmaking landscape in Scotland. Join the Facebook event for full information.

Do you remember the 1st night of September?

Love was changing the minds of pretenders

While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing

In the key that our souls were singing

As we danced in the night

Remember how the stars stole the night away....

A film that describes an entire sunset for the visually impaired, telling the story of building a vocabulary to describe the indescribable (such as colour, beauty, love and grief) and that makes access inherent in the work from the outset: that creates, not translates.
