Montoya creates a video while reflecting and moving through physical spaces, layering photographs, videos, sounds, and subtitles from the everyday to the collective. She uses photographs, field recordings, and poems reworked from ecofeminist texts to examine the systems of power that extract, exploit, and separate the land from people.
