Experienced through three short movements, this film is a conceptual exploration of the connections Kyle Richardson finds between his athletic pursuits in Boulder’s Flatirons, and his background as a musician.

A boat builder takes his family on a trip down the Missouri River to soak in the beauty of a protected landscape and instill the importance of family tradition.

CAMEL FINDS WATER
Trevor found the hull of an abandoned fishing boat in a field. He brought it home and returned it to a seaworthy state over the course of a summer. Then, he took it on its maiden voyage to British Columbia in search of waves.
END OF THE ROAD: A DISCOVERY OF SKIING WITHOUT EGO
Two skiers from Jackson Hole, Wyoming discover a small mountain town nestled in a far nook of the state. Along their journey, the two are introduced to soulful locals, a quirky town, deep powder. But it's the wisdom that they receive which makes us re-evaluate nature's role in our lives, skiing, and community.

THROUGH THE BREAKS


Jason Cajune lives in Livingston, Montana and designs and builds wooden drift boats alongside his family. Last summer, Jason packed up one of his custom boats and led his family on a float trip down the Missouri River, through the American Prairie Reserve. Their trip serves as a journey through family traditions, a protected landscape, and layers of history over time.


Director Bio

Making the move from Kansas to Montana for college set Tom Attwater’s trajectory. In addition to earning a bachelor's in fine arts from the University of Montana in 2016, he has spent time as a backcountry instructor and river guide. Attwater is interested in all mediums, but primarily focuses on documentary filmmaking and photography. As a visual storyteller, his ultimate goal is to bring the core of the story to the surface with subtle but powerful techniques that encourage the audience to engage in the story.
