BABY KATE
In this film, written, directed, produced and starring CBFF alumna, Jennifer Lafleur, Rebecca and David meet one last time to finalize their divorce but are unable to avoid the minefield of grief that hangs between them.
Director Bio
BABY KATE marks Lafleur's first time writing and directing for film. She has worked as an actor in film since Jay Duplass saw her in a play in NYC and cast her in a small role in their film BAGHEAD in 2008. She has gone on to collaborate quite a bit with the Duplass Brothers (Do-Deca-Pentathlon, Jeff Who Lives At Home, Wedlock, Room 104) and to expand her work into television (Big Little Lies, Friends From College, The Good Doctor, American Crime) as well as continuing to work on indie films like LAMB by Ross Partridge, Sarah Adina Smith's THE MIDNIGHT SWIM, and Amber Sealey's NO LIGHT AND NO LAND ANYWHERE.
