There Was a Cedar Forest
This film shows the rich biodiversity of a Middle Atlas cedar forest in Morocco, alive and full of animals. Their survival is threatened by drought. The thousand-year-old cedars there were supposed to be magnificent, according to a 2010 tour guide, but all that was found were dead stumps. In the space of a decade, these trees that have stood for centuries have disappeared forever.

Three middle school students, aided by the Maui Invasive Species Committee, produce an enlightening film spotlighting the dangers of invasive species in Hawaiian ecosystems. The film's focus on Coqui Frogs and Little Fire Ants offers actionable solutions for halting their impact.
