Director Bio:

Born 1990 in Mazandaran,Iran. 2017-BA in screenwriting in Tehran University Of Art. Cinema Master student at Kamalolmolk University Of Art. She had an interest in art since childhood and began writing at first. Writing stories and poems and being encouraged in school and winning top competitions pushed her to write more seriously. In addition to writing short stories, she began to write several plays, and upon entering the university, screenwriting also added to her interests. Art is always an unknown and strange world for her, and every day, as she goes along it, she still feels that she is on the first path, and this wonder is not related to a particular art, and each branch of art has its own unique charm for her. She also works in the songwriting profession. In addition to writing, she also acts and directs theater. She started acting in the play in 2005. Currently, her main concern is film and cinema. Till now, She made some student short films.

Director Statement:

From the beginning of cinema, women have always been in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Although at times it was only a matter of propaganda and audience attraction, but it can be said that this art would not have progressed similarly to the current development without the presence of women. There were many male filmmakers who made films about women's issues, but it would always be more interesting to hear the pain and concern from women themselves. As a woman, I face many problems in society. Problems that may be a minor issue for a man. In the field of filmmaking, the problems for female filmmakers are much greater. However, the pleasure of making a work of art and the indirect expression of pain, suffering and problems make me resistant to hardship. From the very beginning of my filmmaking career, women and children have always been an important subject for me and I tried to be their language as much as I could. The film "Mannequin", which has a social and psychological approach, deals with the issue of child loneliness and puberty. In the digital age and at the height of technology, parents are filling their vacancies with mobile phones and computers. Although the child is involved in play all hours of the day and somehow fills his free time, but always the emptiness of the presence of parents is felt, especially the emptiness of the presence of parents, which plays a significant role in the formation of the child's personality. And dissatisfaction with this feeling can lead to psychological damage to children and adolescents. Isolation and delinquent, delinquent behaviors, perhaps similar to the character in the film, establishing a relationship with a mannequin, which in the eyes of others is a cold and soulless body, but for a child or adolescent, it is passionate and full of life and different from those around them.
