Listless teen, Tyler, spends his days clocking into work and waiting for purpose to find him in his small town. When a mysterious girl breaks his routine, he realizes he has a lot to learn -- and maybe that's okay.

Directors' Bios:

Greta Guthrie has spent her career thus far balancing a passion for music, composition, and film. When not producing or writing, she composes scores and original songs for short films. She's an avid songwriter, with a love of singing, performing, and playing a multitude of odd instruments, yet remains increasingly resentful she can't whistle. Don't bring it up. She just wrapped as the Director’s assistant on the Netflix movie Happiness for Beginners and before that was the Showrunner’s Assistant on The Drew Barrymore Show, where she was featured on a singing segment alongside America's sweetheart, Ken Jeong. On family trips to her grandparents' cabin in Canada, she used to sneak away to read on a hidden rock by the water. It always made her grandma nervous, but a little danger was worth it for the view.

Jacob Lazarow is a filmmaker and movie poster lover currently based out of New York working as a Production Assistant. His recent credits include the A24/Showtime project "Ziwe,” Ray Romano's "Someplace in Queens," Apple TV+'s "Dear Edward," and most recently NBC's "The Missing." 'Overlook' is the most recent in a long line of collaborations with this crew and the culmination of three years of working to bring it to life. His personal Overlook to get away from it all is taking absurdly long showers, which was a point of contention during quarantine because he wasted all of the hot water in Greta's parents' house until they gently asked him to stop.
