Montevideo in the 1990s. Claire is a girl who has never been invited to a birthday party. She watches classmates hand out birthday cards in the playground to several girls and boys... but not to her. This time, something is going to change. A hairdresser gives her a special hairstyle for the occasion and her mother fixes a dress she’s never had the chance to wear before. Claire wants to know what it feels like to attend a birthday party, and thanks to her creativity and imagination, she is going to find out.
