The year is 1984. Spain is recovering from a suffocating period of dictatorship, the Spanish basketball team is faring well at the Los Angeles Olympic Games, and basketball has become the sport of choice for the nation's youth.
Trying to shake the boredom and repetition of his life, a teenager from a small southern city visits the Las Américas sports center every day, honing his game... until an unexpected event puts everything on the line, and his passion for basketball is in danger of being benched for good.
