Embrace the power of imagination in these films about kids who travel to other worlds, befriend mythical woodland creatures, and test out their own magic powers. With dazzling visuals, these films inject a hint of whimsy into everyday life.

This program will also screen in person at NWFF on the festival's two Sundays, Feb. 5 & 12 at 2pm! VIRTUAL, IN-PERSON, and HYBRID (virtual AND in-person) Festival Passes are available.

High above the clouds, a dragon is teaching his granddaughter the last vestiges of his craft — Cloud Weaving. A magical art form, it takes time and patience to learn, and although Skye’s ambitions are soaring, her skills still need practice. As the sun sets over the horizon and day turns to night, she slowly comes into her own, shouldering the responsibility of creation and accepting the passage of time.
