These thought-provoking, moving, and funny shorts show kids growing up, learning about the world, and having to confront some of life's challenges for the first time.


This program will also screen in person at NWFF on Feb. 4 at 2:30pm & Feb. 12 at 4:30pm. VIRTUAL, IN-PERSON, and HYBRID (virtual AND in-person) Festival Passes are available.


⚠️ Please note: NWFF patrons will be required to wear masks that cover both nose and mouth while in the building. Disposable masks are available at the door for those who need them. We are not currently checking vaccination cards. Read full COVID policies here.

Gerard is 12-year-old boy who lives close to the seaside. Every day he swims far from the coast, until one day he learns how dangerous and mysterious the sea can be.
