Three little deer mice live happily in Cucumber Village. When the youngest has his ball pecked flat by a chicken, his two sisters must find a way to bring back their little brother's smile.
Mel Fell
One day, when Mama bird is away, Mel decides it's time to learn to fly. She's been in the nest long enough. Despite the fears of her cautious siblings, Mel takes to the sky...and plummets! A host of tree-dwelling animals try to intervene, but Mel remains committed to mastering the art of flight.

Spuffies have a serious thing for jubees. When they've eaten the very last delicious fruit and hunger is about to strike, they head through the murky forest to the next jubee grove.

Sadly, the T-Rex is very bad at playing basketball.
Winter in a Day
This animated short follows two best friends, Bear and Fox, and the adventures they have on the last day before Bear’s hibernation. Bear dreams of one day experiencing winter and is sad to be missing it once again. With the help of some friends, Fox creates winter in a day for Bear.

This program will also screen twice in person at NWFF on Feb. 4 at noon & Feb. 11 at 12:30pm. VIRTUAL, IN-PERSON, and HYBRID (virtual AND in-person) Festival Passes are available.

Balloom is a fourth year thesis film about a clown who struggles to accept the inevitable demise of his balloon animals, but gains a new perspective on life thanks to those around him. It is a heartfelt story about the importance of appreciating the present and coming to terms with the difficulties of loss.
