<p>Artist Eli Shamir paints the view from his studio balcony--fields stretching to the horizon, ancient oak trees, and a generation of farmers that is disappearing from the vistas of the Jezreel Valley. His large oils are treasured by collectors worldwide. It was director Ben Shani's encounter with one of Shamir's paintings that spawned the idea of documenting the artist at work. Filmed over the course of ten years, neither of them had any idea that everything would change as Parkinson’s Disease threatened to rob Shamir of his talent.</p>

Our 2024 Festival is hybrid (both IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL)!  This means if you purchase a HOUSEHOLD STREAMING Pass, or use your ALL-ACCESS Pass (for TWO!) for virtual presentations, or purchase individual STREAMING tickets, you can watch almost all of the Festival’s films any time from 6:00 am Friday, April 5, until 11:59 pm on Sunday April 14. Exception:  June Zero is not available for streaming.
