Kathy Byrne is the Director of TV/Theatrical for SAG-AFTRA Chicago In addition to running the TV/Theatrical Department, she also is the head of Agency Relations for the Chicago local. Kathy is a firm believer in outreach to both actors and filmmakers who are beginning their careers, or who have worked on several film projects without realizing how easy it is to work with SAG-AFTRA actors and contracts. Kathy is a proud graduate of Illinois State University!

Jess Jones is a Chicago-based Business Representative for SAG-AFTRA. Prior to her time at SAG-AFTRA, Jess spent years working in various capacities as an entertainment industry professional in Chicago, most notably as a talent agent with Grossman & Jack Talent. Her professional background in both talent advocacy and contract negotiation gives her a unique understanding of contractual protections and provisions, the Midwest market, and nationwide industry trends and standards in the sector. As a passionate arts educator and ardent supporter of sector development, Jess frequently speaks at training centers and universities, demystifying the business of show business to help emerging creatives build sustainable, professional careers
