A documentary short about a father with secondary-progressive MS, who struggles with his father's inability to cope, his mother's guilt for passing multiple sclerosis to him, and his fear for the future of his two sons. The Deepest Cut alludes to the emotional conflict parents face when dealing with the mortality of their child.

Filmmaker Sara Ramadan confronts her father about her childhood. When she reconnects with her mentally ill mother for the first time in 13 years, she attempts to reconcile her father's difficult Egyptian upbringing, his decisions as a father and husband, and his abandonment of her mother.

Dear Dad

A budding filmmaker and hopeless nostalgic loses all of her life's work, along with years of treasured family photos and home movies, in a swift computer accident. While grieving the loss and seeking a way to cope, she packs a bag and sets off for Cuba, where she recovers something she never even had -- but somehow missed more than anything.

Saudade

When a janitor cleans an empty auditorium after graduation of the high school he's worked for decades, he gives his 'own' commencement speech on the night of his retirement. It's the speech he thinks the graduates should have heard, and more importantly, the one he wishes he had heard when he graduated from high school. No one is left out.
