What he finds is animation drawings inspired by 2000 year old murals in the Buddhist caves in Dunhuang. The narration is delivered in the form of traditional opera by well-known Chinese shadow-theater, musicians and singers.

This film was created in an effort to learn and grow my animation skills. I've never had the privilege of attending art school but I've always loved storytelling. I took some of my favorite scenes from cartoons and applied my own story to it. This film chronicles one man's adventure to retrieve his most prized possession.

Five twenty-somethings become lost while on a road trip to a weekend getaway due to their navigator’s alcohol-fueled gross negligence. As a result, they are no longer destined for sunshine and pool time. Rather, they are relegated to life in a small, peculiar town filled with inhabitants who hold mysterious beliefs, strange traditions, and a determination to burn them at the stake.
