The animation in this collection span every variety, from stop motion pixilation to hand-drawn - and more. In one gorgeous short set in Chicago's South Side, James Brown and Solomon Burke, two monuments of Soul music, look to figure out how to let each other have the spotlight. In another short, how can two characters on different levels interact? In the last short, there is the boundary between fantasy and reality that once shattered, changes everything.

MAKE IT SOUL (Short Film)

Synopsis: On Chicago's South Side, during the winter of 1965, The Regal Theater hosts two monuments of Soul music, James Brown and Solomon Burke. Backstage, everyone's under pressure. But in 1960s America, both men know their music has unexpected powers.
