In a mockumentary, Jessie is unhappy, constantly comparing her development with others until she learns to strive in her own way. In another short, Zhenos comes of age while living in a converted hotel for refugee families. In another short a boy struggles with the shadows that chase constantly chase him, until he realizes his classmates face similar stresses.
