2040 (Feature Film)

Synopsis: We all know climate change is real – we know what not to do – but what can we do in order for young people to know they can do something about it? 2040 follows the filmmaker's fact-based imagining of a future for the next generation, where climate change is addressed and solved. The filmmaker travels around the world investigating solutions that can contribute towards climate mitigation. Where do solutions like renewable energy, regenerative agricultural practices and sustainable ecosystems exist already? How can we implement these solutions in other areas? The film does not make climate change seem hopeless, but instead empowers the viewers to understand climate change differently. The emphasis on collective action and communities coming together to change the world for the better is an extremely important message.
