Teens must deal with identity issues every day. In one film, facing intolerance, Oscar stands up for who they are and lives on their own terms. In another film, a Two Spirit person named Woman Dress travels the Plains, gathering and sharing stories. Featuring archival images and dramatized re-enactments, this film does honor without imposing colonial binaries on them. In the last short, When Hannah arrives at high school, she's nervous a classmate from middle school will not respect her privacy. Hannah wonders if it’s time for her to tell her new friends about her identity before the narrative is no longer in her hands.
