Who runs the world? Girls!
The girls in this collection of shorts are much-needed leaders. In one short, activist Jovanna takes climate change into consideration in every daily act. She and her family live in an "earthship,” where they generate all the energy they use. How can she use her voice for climate change? In the last short, adynamic activist shares her family and Native American community's journey to retain and celebrate the rituals and values of their culture. As she makes her passage from girlhood into adulthood, is she a born leader?

Synopsis: This episode explores the story of young voices for change using the tools they have to be heard. Following the example of teenage Swedish climate change activist, Greta Thunberg, thousands of German school children are now taking Fridays off. They take to the streets to demand governmental action to stop global warming. The news magazine asks both the leaders of the student protests along with the politicians they hope to reach, important questions that get to the heart of the matter and find a solution.
