In these short films, children realize what it takes to achieve their dreams and how to take small steps toward the larger picture.

The girls in this collection of short films are on top of it! Pen Pals Melina and Laila share their cultural pride and career aspirations. Melina dreams of becoming a wildlife photographer and when she meets a National Geographic "pro,” she realizes she can start in her own backyard. She shares her story with Laila in New Mexico, who is a talented athlete and a would-be sports leader. Laila interviews a successful baseball manager and learns what it takes to be the first female MLB manager. In the final film, after losing two permanent front teeth, a girl develops a plan to get enough money to repair them before the

start of school.
