The girls in this collection of short films are on top of it! Pen Pals Melina and Laila share their cultural pride and career aspirations. Melina dreams of becoming a wildlife photographer and when she meets a National Geographic "pro,” she realizes she can start in her own backyard. She shares her story with Laila in New Mexico, who is a talented athlete and a would-be sports leader. Laila interviews a successful baseball manager and learns what it takes to be the first female MLB manager. In the final film, after losing two permanent front teeth, a girl develops a plan to get enough money to repair them before the
start of school.
