Maximus

Young India corners Dr. Mike as he attempts to decompress from his work in the pediatric oncology ward. She regales the doctor with tales of her brave brother, Maximus, who has been off fighting a magical war in a distant land. As Dr. Mike listens to the story, he realizes that the warrior Maximus is a 9-year-old who he has been treating and who is scheduled to be released that day. The story is a heartwarming true saga of one child's fight against cancer, seen through the eyes of an admiring younger sibling.
