Best Birthday Ever

This animated feature based on the best-selling book series by Rotraut Susanne Berner is about a small rabbit named Charlie who lives with his loving family and pets in a house at the edge of town. Little Charlie is just about to celebrate his 5th birthday and he is very excited about it. There is one small problem, his baby sister Clara. Clara only knows how to cry and sleep, according to Charlie and when she gets sick on his birthday, he suggests that his parents return the baby to the doctor to get a “new one” like an older brother or something. When Baby Clara develops a fever Charlie’s parents must take her the to the doctor, delay the birthday party and unfortunately leave little Charlie behind. Feeling neglected, Charlie sets off on an adventure with his friends to see his Grandma who he believes will give him all the undivided attention he deserves. Along the way Charlie learns about courage, acceptance and understanding and still finds a way to have the best birthday ever!
