NOOR
Saying goodbye is always a challenge, but thirteen-year-old Noor finds it impossible. As she attends a family gathering where her relatives are all clad in black, wiping tears from their eyes, a growing fear of departure plants itself in her heart. Unable to face a final parting, Noor focuses all her attention on her surroundings. Yet, the boisterous bark of dogs and the constant crowing of birds cannot distract her from the inevitable farewell, where she makes a promise she cannot keep.
