On October 5, 1961, 30,000 Algerians took to the streets of Paris to protest a discriminating curfew. But, in a planned attack from the authorities, many were killed in tragic ways. Though the story of this night was swept under the rug for decades, this animated short remembers the souls lost to the tears of the Seine that faithful night.

On October 5, 1961, the French National Police led a massacre against nearly 30,000 Algerians protesting a discriminating curfew. Though this tragedy was hidden for decades and the death toll unknown, this animated short remembers the many souls that were drowned in the Seine River that faithful night.
