New Moon
Based on the play by Colman Domingo, one starry summer night, young Jay Jay and his mother Edie sit together on their front porch, sipping ice tea and listening to the radio. Under the soft light of the new moon, Jay Jay joins his mother as she embarks on a magical journey to rediscover lost dreams, find forgiveness, and nurture new hopes. Now an adult, he recalls this extraordinary night and the wisdom Edie passed on to him, reflecting on the importance of reaching for a better future while remembering one's roots.
