Eyes on the Stars

It’s 1959 in South Carolina. When Ronald visits a “White Only” library, he refuses to take no for an answer and patiently waits to check out a science book, even when other people look at him strangely and tell him to leave. Later in life, Ronald dreams of becoming an astronaut like the crew in Star Trek, seeing the equality of the crew as a form of “science-possibility” rather than “science fiction”. A touching, animated look back at the life of Astronaut Ronald McNair, as narrated by his brother
