It’s a surprising phenomenon that even after being “out” for decades, seniors who are part of the LGBTQ2+ community still feel pressure to hide their sexuality. RAINBOW ELDERS follows a group of aging LGBTQ2+ individuals in Calgary as they navigate concerns around housing and inclusion late in life, while also learning to celebrate their sexuality and how to support one another.

Freud's account of his sessions with "Dora," as he called her, was the only major case history he published of a female patient. Every day dozens of inmates are released on parole from the largest prison release center in Texas, the Huntsville State Penitentiary. With only a bus ticket voucher and $100 release check, most of the inmates spend their first moments of newly found freedom with phone calls, cigarettes, and quiet reflection at the Greyhound station up the block. In this moment between incarceration and freedom, a myriad of complicated emotions arise before the bus arrives to take them home.
