From long-term prison sentences to crafting government bills that change the world, this package is full of stories that are sure to inspire.

In the 1940s, virtuoso tap dancing duo the Nicholas Brothers performed a dance routine so

beautiful, athletic and seminal that it prefigured hip hop dance by three decades. Inspired by their story, contemporary dancers Les Twins bring this iconic routine out of the shadows, creating a modern incarnation of the groundbreaking original.

Award-winning jazz drummer Moses Boyd functions as the Cab Calloway of the piece, playing and performing an evocative, original composition. Tap phenom Savion Glover breaks down the routine against the social context of the time and defines its influence in modern-day hip hop. Using archival footage, dramatizations and live performances, NICHOLAS BROTHERS: STORMY WEATHER pays homage to what came before.
