Inspired by true events, Icarus recounts episodes from the life of Mieczyslaw Kosz, a blind Polish jazz pianist star who died young in 1973. The film approaches Kosz’s half-forgotten tragic life story with a great deal of empathy, recreating the inner world of the musician from a patchwork of his subjective perceptions and memories.
