A short documentary about two shepherds from the Romanian village, Maglavit. The old shepherd saw God 85 years ago and was able to perform many miracles in which the whole community believes. The new shepherd who lives in Maglavit today is a young man who is in desperate need of a miracle that could make his brother better. But while he so much needs the miracle to happen, it’s very hard for him to believe in it, or to believe in the events from 85 years ago. Placed in a rural community full of religious certainty, the film focuses on the inner struggle of the second shepherd, Lucian, who seems to be stranded between wanting to believe in miracles and not finding it so easy.
