Four women, four different battles. Olympic boxer Stoyka Krasteva has already walked away from the ring twice, when life unexpectedly pulls her back toward the dream that she thought she had abandoned. Her childhood idol, martial arts legend Daisy Lang, leaves Hollywood to meet her for the first time. Wrestler Bilyana Dudova carries the scars of a childhood marked by poverty and loss and finds herself fighting battles far beyond the wrestling mat. And Martina Apostolova, a former football player who became an actress, has to navigate a world where talent alone is never enough. The March of the Amazons transports these stories from Olympic arenas and wrestling mats into film sets, motherhood, and intimate spaces. Across four very different lives, strength takes on many forms – from overcoming injury and prejudice to finding the courage to keep going. At once epic and deeply personal, the film celebrates women who refuse to let circumstances define the limits of who they can become.
