Montreal, 1981. To distract themselves from the insurgency occuring in their home country, four Salvadoran siblings -- Julia (33), Anabel (29), Cecilia (26) and Román (23) -- newly settled in Canada, decide to hit their first Montreal night club. When Román is denied access to the club, they all stay behind, looking for another way in. At the back of the club, they meet a group of four friends, all immigrants too, attempting to get inside to no avail. The siblings join the group and they create their own little party outside, but their good times do not last long…
