The Writer (Róbert Koltai) knows more about the world, women, and the essence of relationships than all of us put together. He doesn't want to die without passing on this secret. So he's looking for someone to whom he can pass on the "essence of being a bluebeard". And he finds it, in the person of the Man (Elek Ferenc), who the memory of a single woman has tormented since his teenage years. This memory determines all your decisions. A mysterious, exciting psychological game develops between them, a fight in which the writer subjects the Man to tests in order to prepare him to carry on the secret.

Children of Glory will commemorate Hungary's heroic Revolution of 1956, and takes place in Budapest and at the Melbourne Olympic Games in October and November of that year. While Soviet tanks were destroying Hungary, the Hungarian water polo team was winning over the Soviets in the Olympic pool in Melbourne, in what has been described as the bloodiest water polo match in history.

In turn-of-the-century Budapest, teenage gang the Paul Street Boys have been skirmishing with their enemies, the Red Shirts, over a vacant lot. When the Red Shirts decide to drive the Paul Street Boys out, they appoint small, sick Pvt. Nemescek (Anthony Kemp) to spy on their opponents. Unfortunately, Nemescek is discovered on enemy ground and thrown into a pond, contracting a serious case of pneumonia. Despite his illness, the two gangs prepare to fight.

"Budapest Tales" is about a group of people (consisting of Szabo regular Andras Balint along with Ildiko Bansagi and Karoly Kovacs) who find a broken down tram while trying to go to the city. The people band together and try to get the tram back on the train tracks and head towards the city.  Along this journey the passengers encounter many people who join them on the tram. What started out as only a handful of people has now turned into a small village.  As the people travel on to the city each person takes on certain roles and through the course of time these roles will change. Some people fall in love, others out of love, and a few even die. But life goes on. The people keep the tram going hoping to reach Budapest.

A yellow tram lies overturned on the riverbank at the end of the war. Tattered, ragged, homeless men huddle together in a group, load it on rails trying to take it to the remise. Their journey is not easy, they have many difficulties to overcome. Each one has its own drama, yet they are united by a common will to reach their goal.

Set in 19th century Vienna, Ignac Semmelweis, a short-tempered but passionate doctor, delivers babies and carries out autopsies on a daily basis while looking for the cause of puerperal fever, the mysterious epidemic that decimates patients in the hospital.
