Directors' Statement:

This film is inspired by the millennial/ gen z conversation around marriage and relationships in 2021. What is the point of marriage? What does it mean now? In an interracial relationship? Why does it still carry such meaning? In this humorous take on relationships and marriage, we explore expectations put upon us VS our reality. What happens when a partner rejects a marriage proposal? Does it matter? Or does loving one another outweigh the sting of fulfilling an institutionalized fantasy?
