Everyday, people in Saskatchewan rely on public healthcare, libraries, schools, public transit, and Crown corporations to access the services they need to survive. Meeting Human Needs examines schemes used by conservative governments to privatize public services and the consequences suffered by communities. In exposing these schemes, the video makes the case for a collective future that protects and expands public services for all.

In this inspiring documentary, a small contemporary dance company in San Francisco provides dancers, many of them female, with the unique opportunity to choreograph modern ballet productions. The hope is that this experience will give rise to more female creators, leaders, and choreographers.

This documentary follows Jorge Escompani, a "Shiringa" master, as he shows us how he extracts natural latex from the Shiringa tree. The extraction of latex from the Shiringa tree has led to the death of thousands of indigenous people due to slavery during "the fever of latex" in the 19th century. Current practices reflect a respectful relationship between the trees and those who depend on it for survival.
